Refugio de Vida Silvestre Bahía Junquillal

Five hundred and five hectares of protected land holding seven different coastal ecosystems all with access to water.

Highlights

Hiking The Tropical Dry Broadleaf Forest

The forest has a canopy of trees up to 30 meters in height, and an understory of small trees, large shrubs, and woody lianas, home to a diverse bird life, including parrots, magpie jays, hawks among others.

Enjoy Where The Forest Meets The Ocean

Access to water helps the local fauna vibrate with life, from fish in the sea, the carbs along the beach and migrating birds in the lagoon all add to a delicate balance where you can witness how life interacts through diverse niches and intertwin.
